The problem I have with that image, to be perfectly honest, is that it is too tiny. That's my hot button issue with people who design message boards and cell phones, etc. (i.e., people who do computer stuff): they are mostly designed by 20-somethings with fantanstic eyesight, and so because they have fantastic eyesight, they make everything super tiny. They figure that just because they can see individual atoms and molecules, obviously everyone must be able to, too. They make the font tiny, they make the images tiny. I say, if we are going to give someone a kudo, don't whisper it: Make the image big and SHOUT IT OUT TO THEM AND THE WORLD!

Some nice efforts, except shouldn't it be 'kudos' not 'kudo'? Unless, perhaps, we're weaving in Finland.

I'm not a linguist, but I think both kudo and kudos forms are acceptable, even though kudos seems to be the preferred one. The confusion is that kudos seems to be the plural of kudo, which it is not. Therefore people have to the tendency to use kudo as the singular form of kudos.

Actually, "kudos" is plural for "kudo," although in usage it is usually constructed in the plural -- although both the singular and plural are correct:

In the 19th century, kudos¹ entered English as a singular noun, a transliteration of a Greek singular noun kŷdos meaning "praise or renown." Kudos given to track record breakers.
