Posts: 6 24-Jun-09 2:20 PM	Tags : None Hello. ^.^ The "Unread Messages" icon has been showing on the main page to a forum for the last poster. For example, where I was the last poster to our General Discussions and Sunday WIPs forum.... since I know what I wrote.... I probably don't need to know it's new. LOL!! I've been chatting with mOzaic about this and he suggests that I report it as a bug. We've ruled out caching problems and I only have this icon set for "New Posts," "Unread Posts," and "New Reply" only. thecraftycoven.yuku.com

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 13730 24-Jun-09 3:03 PM Yuku Help	Hi dreamstitcher, This is an account related problem, we noticed this a while back. It has been happening to Arizona here at support. It happened to me on a different board, but when I pointed it out to a developer, he told me it acted as expected for him. I had not seen any reports of this so I just figured it was me and Arizona who got singled out to endure a bug I made a test post at your community and took a screen shot right afterwards, you'll see my name in the last post column but no new post icon on my end. The issue never resolved for arizona, but it did for me. Let's give this a couple days (took about 48 hours to resolve for me) and if you are still experiencing it, I will submit a report on this one.

I drives me insane when I have to double check for my name next to "new" posts. Hehe. I'll give it a few days, and hopefully it'll resolve itself. If not, I shall holler again. ^.^ BTW, this problem is across all platforms for me.... Firefox, Safari, IE7. ~ Joyce. ETA: I checked after I posted this, and it doesn't show my post as a "new" on the front page. At the time when it happened to me, it wasn't real annoying because it was on a test board where I was prertty much the only one posting, but I can see where it becomes annoying on an active board. No wonder Arizona acts so strange, she's been dealing with this on two boards.

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 13730 25-Jun-09 9:43 AM Yuku Help	I think they were just targetting arizona and maybe they hit your account in the process on accident. Are you experiencing it on all boards too, dreamstitcher? When it happened to me it was only on one board.
