Please is there a way to allow one member permission to use the stick topic tool bar without making them an administrator or moderator? and if I have to
promote them how do I only allow that one thing to be done by that person? thankyou Autumn

On the member's admin page, hit the moderator radio button by any forums you'd like this person to moderate. Uncheck all the boxes that appear except
for stick/unstick.
If you allow members to delete posts, you might also want to check delete. If you don't do that, your mod won't be able to delete his/her own posts. You'd simply have to tell this person not to delete anything that wasn't his own. I don't know if the mod has any other powers when you go this route. Maybe someone could answer this question: what happens when you promote someone to mod and leave all the boxes unchecked? |
