I was wondering how many subforums you can add to a forum.
Ive added one. But on our Graphics Forum Id like to put all
snags under their own categories. (sub forums) People, Animals, Good Morning/night, etc
I wont change anything until Im sure as id hate to loose anything.
I know you shouldnt add subforums to subforums. But to the orginal forum ???

Hi Sande,
While I wouldn't recommend 200 subforums, technically, you can as many as your heart desires. |

Hi!
Thought since this thread was already here, there was no reason to make a new one... Here's my question... We have made a subforum, but the names for the two forums don't appear in the dropdown...although if you click on the spaces, you still are sent to them. What do I need to do in order to apply the two forum names so they are visible in the dropdown? tia |

Go back into forum mgmt > edit info and enter the forum name in the first box as well.

Thanks, m0zaic, but the forum names were already in the first box...same as they were before we sub-forumed them. That is why I am puzzled that they aren't
showing in the dropdown.

I think it is because you are using an image for the display name and you are using the "select" sort of dropdown. Can you try going into your
display settings, Admin-Community Settings-Display Preferences. Scroll down till you see Subforum Dispay Style. Try choosing the Yuku Dropdown or the list and
see if those will work with the images.

Arizona, you called it!! Changing to Yuku dropdown solved the issue. I had not even considered the images to be the culprit! lol Thanks for the instruction! Much appreciated! |
