twitter is the biggest spamfest ever invented, and they wonder that it's being attacked by spammers?

The good thing about Twitter and spammers though is that they aren't actually spamming. They can only simply follow one in the hopes we will follow back.
They can only spam their own page. It's easy peezy to just block them when we see them on our followers list. Plus Twitter are very quick to globally ban
them.
If one doesn't follow a "spammer" then one doesn't get their spam in their stream. If people are stupid enough to follow everyone that follows them just to build up their own following then what do they expect. The solution is only follow people you know and block those you don't know from following you. People like us that only follow our friends and family are quite safe from the spammers. As for Twitter being hacked in order to hack into people's computers, well, every system is open to that if a particular bright spark wants to do it. Everywhere on the web can be hacked, including the FBI, MI5, CIA or whatever. It's the risk one takes when using the web. |
