There is no need to archive older messages, the amount of topics you can have in a forum is unlimited. On ezboard they would fall off after 20 pages and you had to archive them, but on yuku you don't need to do that.

The topics you are referring to are not lost, they are still on the board. What you are looking at is imported shadow topics. Taking a guess here, you used to move older topics to the archives and left a shadow in the original forum so that people would still find them. Those shadows import as empty topics. It is an error we didn't discover until late in the migrations.
you could just delete the empty topics, because you already have them saved in the archives.

Take a look at who started this topic and when.

Now take a look in one of your archive forum, you will find the same topic there, but it is completely intact:

Don't worry, all of your data is there, it just is not where you expect it to be.
