I have project playlist on my profile and it will not play so i am sure it is something in the code that is wrong i just do not know what. If you click on the stand alone player link my playlist will come up and auto play but i can not get it to play on my profile without clicking on that link and it should be able to play on my profile without having to click that link. ( Am i making sense yet? LMAO) There are a few other profiles that have this player and on most it works. If you know someone who's got it working the way you want it, perhaps you can PM them to get the code they've got, so that you can compare them and make yours complete? The post count in your profile is your overall total of posts, whereas the post count below your avatar on a specific board is the post count for that particular board. Did you make all your posts at that particular board? Also, your post count may have migrated along if you migrated your account, but when a board migrates, it only counts the posts that still exist. So if a board has deleted older threads, the remaining post count at a board could be a lot lower than your accumulated post count. Do any of these apply?

Posts: 6 16-Sep-07 9:07 AM	Cedar, All of the posts were made on that board i have not joined any other boards yet. But i did notice that they have deleted alot of old threads on the board however alot of my friends on there still have their post counts intact. On the code that was all that was available from project playlist i wonder if it has anything to do with me being on IE instead of firefox? I have PM'd one person for help but they have not responded so i will see if i can find someone else with a working player. Thank you for the responce it means alot to me. Mark

You need to have a link there otherwise there's no source for what you're embedding -- nothing to embed. The bits that I made red are invalid html, so they won't be interpreted as html and the playlist won't show up. The purple bit, is that the link that shows in your profile when you add this code?

Posts: 1 16-Sep-07 7:04 PM Volkswagen Beetle	Hi Mark, you may find it quicker to try one of the sites listed in the following topic: http://techdesk.yuku.com/topic/422 I have got the code for both of those sites to work on Yuku, and some of the other playlist sites give you code that requires quite a bit of fiddling to get working - if it's even possible to use it on Yuku. Also, make sure you're adding it to the Media block in your profile as that's the only one where these codes will work.

I need the player to be in black without the autostart in some cases. Can someone reconfigure the code for these options?

Posts: 1 25-Feb-08 5:05 AM	I am still trying to figure out how to make the player another solid color (other than gray) but I have figured out how to customize your player with the background graphic of your choice. Your graphic needs to be 435px wide & 270px high and will only work if saved in the .jpg format. Load your graphic in your Photobucket (or photo hosting account of your choice) and use the "direct link" for the code. In the code below I have highlighted in red the items that need to be changed by you to customize your player to your liking. The "00000000" that are in the code 3 different times all need to be changed to the number projectplaylist has issued to your player. If you do not know this number, generate a code on their site. The code will not work on Yuku, but you will find your 8-digit player number in this code. You can choose the following colors for your player buttons: black, gray, blue, purple, pink, red or green. One of these choices needs to be entered in each of the "yourcolorchoicehere" red texted areas. I have tried this code several times with different graphics and I am only able to get the black text to work, even if I have "white" entered in the field -- not sure why?? Also, the "shuffle" does not seem to make a difference, as the player always starts with the first song and plays them in order -- but at least it works. :shrug If you still cannot get the code to work after changing all the red text to your choices, (don't forget to delete the bracketed message in red at the beginning of the code!) check to make sure you have not hit the spacebar somewhere within the code. I had 2 unintentional spaces in the code and after correcting that it worked fine. I'd be happy to help with any questions, but I am by no means an html or css expert! I figured this out by merging PawZing's code (Thank you!) above with the code issued by playlist and there was a lot of trial & error in between! Good luck! :cross
