Her post count should be 1860. I'll remove the code that alters the way her post count appears until you've had a chance to work everything out.
Thanks!

Now, another one of my moderators is being told that she doesn't have access to the board. http://joy.latenightchatter.yuku.com/ She has receved the following errors, "Error 401 Unauthorized" and
"System Error-You don't have access to this community" If my moderators are having these kinds of problems, I can only imagine what's going
on with my general membership.
http://latenightchatter.yuku.com/directory Any assistance that you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I had no problem accessing your board and reading your guidelines so hopefully your general membership can too. :-)

My board seems to have lost it's gold status. I went to look at the contributions to see what the last one was and how much it was but they go back to 2008
and it was 1 free day so I'm having trouble finding out if it is a glitch from being down or if the gold status actually ran out.

Banned A wrote:I regret that is not the case, Banned A. Although I am properly logged in, I am receiving the same 401 error that Cherie our administrator cited. I can access private messages, but no part of http://latenightchatter.yuku.com Trying both Firefox or Internet Explorer, I have also tested my lady's log-in (she is a moderator on LNC), with the same "unauthorized access" result. So at least three members (two of whom are moderators) are blocked, and a fourth is in danger of losing her messages - and her unique "punctuation mark" identity.
On the bright side, maxxfisher has now piqued my curiosity enough to explore his "conversations with dead people" forum. |

OK. The link you posted above gives me a server error too but I copied and pasted the link from Cherie2's post and it worked fine.
LINK Just tried it with IE to be sure and that worked too. There is something odd on the end of your link. It looks like this: http://latenightchatter.yuku.com%c2%a0/ rather than this: http://latenightchatter.yuku.com/directory Hope that helps.

Banned A wrote:I'm sorry but that link produces the same 401 error for me. I dare say others are experiencing the same? I can view members' profile pages, but cannot access the forum itself using any method. Computers and the Internet are not my field of expertise, nor do I use the following services, but I am told that there were various oddities over the last few days, such as the Sidekick debacle, Twitter freezes, Facebook problems and YouTube difficulties. Perhaps something not related to Yuku made for unfortunate timing for system-wide maintenance? ETA: I have even typed the URL in directly (in FF and IE), producing the same 401 error. I will shortly try the forum from a computer at a different location to see the result.

Sorry it didn't help.
I hope someone else has an answer for you.
I've tried it in four browsers now with no problems.

Thank you very much for your efforts, Zoe and Banned A. I have tried from different browsers and computers (all of which have the date, time and zone set
correctly), and each time I am shown as being properly logged in to Yuku.
I can easily reach Yuku's main page, and am able to read PMs and any other forum it seems. The difficulty is only with LNC. My lady is quite expert at these matters, and sets all caches and cookies to be deleted automatically on exit, even the hidden Flash cookies. I have done so manually as well. Although we do not use IE, she has set the Compatibility mode to function correctly across the Internet on each of our computers. We shall have to see if any other users experience this issue. Perhaps someone can see when new messages were posted by anyone besides Cherie2? That would tell us if other folk are able to access the forum. The last email notification indicated a posting by her quite early this morning, but nothing since then. I must leave now, but I will try from a different location. |

Thanks for your help, Chris.
P.S. Artwire is still missing from my member list though she did post in a moderator test forum since she "disappeared".

The only thing I have left to do is adjust artwire's post count which I'll do tonight, I'm real short on time at the moment but I'll get back to this one and adjust the post count. |

No worries, she won't lose her mail. I will adjust her post count as soon as I can, but I'm beyond swamped at the moment. I added her to my to-do list,
I think I may not get to it until tomorrow, but I'll try for tonight, otherwise definitely tomorrow.

I am getting slow, slow, slow posting as well as slow connecting me to my board as well as any page on my admin menu. This has been going on for at least 4
days maybe more.
Others have also said the same thing. What's up? http://pearlssanctuary2.yuku.com/ Pearl |
