Posts: 11 10-Oct-09 11:57 PM	Tags : None I'm still on Ezboard and am receiving free gold -- this is just an ad or two from google adsense. We're happy with this and would like to continue on with it. We also want to upgrade to yuku -- will I still receive free gold in Yuku?

However, the reason why your board is still on ezboard is because there is a problem with the move of your board. I've been trying since July to get a hold of you, and was getting worried. My messages went to the same mail you have on your yuku account here. Did that mail change? If so, can you PM me a valid email? If not, can you submit a ticket or send me a private message please??

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 1988 11-Oct-09 7:30 AM	This is an ezboard error I believe, where boards got free gold for a period of time but it didn't get switched back. Clarification: Unlike at Yuku, where the only difference between free and Gold boards is advertising or no advertising, at ezboard other features such as Membership By Approval depended on having Gold. Free Gold was originally intended to be a stopgap measure that would allow a board to keep its Gold features -- especially to remain private -- until an admin had a chance to renew Gold. There was never really any expiration date on Free Gold, though. It was just expected that an admin would get busy and pony up before long, but if they didn't, the minimal ads would still help support the community. Other than that... what she said.
