Hello.
I would like to redo my Yuku profile but I have NO idea how to do any of it. Does anyone know if there is a group, or someone that could help me? I do not know HTML at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You! Krissie |

 . You could start by taking one of the premade skins and substituting images and colors with the wysiwyg editor. Do you know where to to find
that? If you click on the account link (next to your name in the navigation bar) then look in the profile box for the "Edit Customized Skins" link.
When you click that you will be taken to a list of your already saved skins.
If you have some saved there you can click on the blue button that says "wysiwyg" editor next to it. This will bring up an editor that you can change images and colors etc in. You may want to start with a basic skin. There is one in the Skins Library, just click that link at the top of your skin list page and then save the Basic Skin by Kristen to your list. Or if you have some images and the idea of what you would like I can make you one. |

Thank you Arizona. I have a basic idea of what I want. I use the same profile for multiple boards on here. A couple of them are for pit bulls. I have a LOT
of images that I could use. Thank you for offering to help me with one. I will gather all my images today and send them in a Yuku PM to you if that would be
O.K.? With a description of what I want and where I'd like for it to go.
I need to resize some of my images so they aren't so big, where I could put them in the block "interesting facts about me". What size would I need to make them so I could put four side by side where they are still good enough to see? And if I did that, could they be clickable to enlarge them? Thank You! |

The ones you want to put in your blocks themselves...well the size will depend on your screen. I would say the most common screen resolution is 1024x768 but many people have larger now. Also there are still some people with 800x600 screens. So you will often see designs made to fit in the "800" width. Your html blocks...depending on the base you use are probable 350px on the left column and 450 or adjustable on the right. If you want to add them as linked thumbnails, you can do that with your Yuku storage or a Linked photobucket account easily. When you click on edit on your html blocks you will get an editor similar to the one you use to type your message here. Just click on the image icon(little mountains) to access your Yuku storage, or the camera(Photobucket). When you open an album to choose a photo you should see a little spot that says "linked thumbnail". If you check that the thumbnail will appear in your box. Then when viewers come, they can click it to see the larger image. This is a very "friendly" way to load pics if you have a lot of them. Because the viewers can get an idea of the picture and click it open only if they want. For users with a slow or dial up connection it can be a lifesaver. ;D |
