(That's a sort of lie, I have already picked up the broken shards and clumps of porridge, hence the bleeding finger. (which is from the shards, not the clumps...))

I've just dropped my breakfast on my kitchen floor. So now I not only have porrige stuck to the floor, the drawers and the bench, but there are broken
shards of Denby "Greenwich" all over the place, and my finger is bleeding. I managed to shout out sheeeeeear instead of sh*t since the girls are in
the back room, and now i am so pissed at myself I'd rather tell you about while I calm down before I clean it up!

alison, you should be more careful!
Seriously, that sounds pretty painful and messy. Hope your finger is OK!! |

it was messy, not really painful. I only realised that I had a sliver stuck in my finger when the blood appeared.
And the upside is that I now have a clean kitchen floor, as cleaning just a few slate tiles was a bit obvious. The downside is that dd2 cut her toe on something on the carpet in the dining room, but the upside of that is that then the dining room got its biannual vacuum. And now I have to go and get another greenwich plate for the princely sum of (I have no idea...) a fiver? |

maybe if you get another magnet you can go between the flowers with the magnet and the little beads will be attracted and stick to it!

only three of the beads were magnets, and they were black. But I found all of them.

LOL! When I read "Oh Bugger", I expected something along these lines, simply because my dh DonTheBrit, my in-laws and UK friends would say exactly
that when something goes terribly wrong. I haven't heard anyone else express themselves quite that way. The sheeeear thing took quite a bit of
self-restraint there though. *bows*
Hope your finger is better soon, and that you are able to get your bracelet complete again. |
