How often is this supposed to happen? I noticed the date of our last backup was June 29th 2009. From a "safety" point of view, shouldn't this
be a more regular occurrence?

I found the following post in another discussion on the same topic :
All domains are being backed up every 24 hours, but the script that updates the actual backup date on the boards tends to mess up at times, showing an older date than the most recent backup. Actually, after learning a bit more about the servers (our systems admin is a great teacher), it is my understanding that some sort of backup runs continuously, not necessarily once every 24 hours) I see that you're on cbd9, this is one of the servers that underwent some recent maintenance. Often when maintenance is done, some scripts get disabled during the maintenance time. It could also be that the script that updates the recent backup date on the board wasn't restarted. Thanks for bringing that up, I'll talk to our systems administrator and see if he can take a look at that server and make sure the script is running.I provided a link to our site, in my above post. Can you please check that our backup is current? Thank you. |

Sorry for the late response. Our systems admin checked just to make sure, it is the script that is wrongly reporting the date. Most recent backup date was
