I was pretty sure in the past that there was a way to block private messages from board members. From the ezboard days though so not sure if this option is
still available on Yuku. I did restrict msgs to friends, but would prefer to just have members use my email address when they have questions and not the
boards to try to get in touch with me.

You did the right thing, but that is all you can do. You can restrict your inbox to only receive messages from people who are on your friends list, but you
can't completely disable it (unless you eliminate your friends list)
