In my community when someone posts a new reply or new topic the "New" icon would appear to show others something to look at...
Now it's not working, is there something I can check to turn it back on? |

Look in your skin list and click on the images button to the right of the skin you are using now. When that page opens look in the Area called Topic Icons. You
will see the "new" icon where it says "Unread Posts". Just copy that link and put it in the box below it called "New Reply". That
one is for the topic page.

I did what you suggested... but I'm still not seeing any "New" posts... it's very frustrating because no one Knows there are new threads to
look at... I'm even missing them and it's my community... lol

Do you have more than one skin applied to your board? Or do you have extra skins you're not using? If either of those situations apply, are you getting
your URL pasted into the image list for the right skin?

I have extra skins, but I clicked the image button in the same line as the skin I'm using... is there a global image button?

If so, I see the reason now. You have this in your Global CSS: .status { display: none; }That is where your new topic icons display. So you would need to remove that bit of code to see them. ;D |
