Rofl. I must admit I am very, very tight with giving out kudos. But I do always leave a message if I pass through someones profile to let them know I have
been, even if they are a total stranger. I am a very social animal, lol.

I liked the charisma system much better than the kudos system. It should have been applied at board level rather than globally though. Or used at both levels.
Because the truth is, newcomers may never reach the number of kudos that somone who has been here for 3 years more might have. But does that mean that longer
membership means you're a nicer person? And considering two people in the hall of fame manipulated the system to amass kudos, and while it was reported
several times, and I requested that the kudos be reduced - that never happened. The hall of fame has been broken for probably a year at least, so kudos really
is fairly meaningless as a way to identify people. And if people vote without leaving a comment, then often the kudos doesn't tell the the recipient why
they got it.

I personally think the Hall of Fame should be done away with because of the fact that newbies don't stand a chance of ever catching up it does in fact make
the Hall of Fame useless.
I also think that being able to only kudos someone once is a bit daft. But then I suppose that because of the Hall of Fame it has to be only one kudos to stop cheating. So do away with the Hall of Fame and then allow us to give more kudos to individuals. That way no one would bother to cheat because thousands of Kudos wouldn't be getting them anywhere. And it would mean we can then give kudos for a thank you, a well done for a great profile, or anything else that we would normally say "Kudos to You" for. |

Hi Dweez. If you go to anyones profile, under their avatar is a button saying kudos. If you see a great profile or someone has done something special, say
helped you in anyway you can click that button and it gives them a point. We can only give a person a kudos once though.
You can also kudos a post if you think it a good one. At the top of each post is a little icon to click. This thread as I write has been given 16 kudos. If you click on the word Kudos there you will be able to see who has given it a kudos. |

I'm not so sure about newbies never catching up on kudos, there's a lot of current members who don't use Yuku to its full extent and so don't amass kudos. Plus, aren't newbies all given 100 kudos on joining? We never got that when we transferred from Ezboard and I still think that was wrong! |

I dont go through other peoples friends list. I find that kind of rude! I dont know maybe it's just me???? If I like someones profile or have gotten to
know them or if they are a dog person or Cat person I'll give them a Kudo! I see it more as a friendly gesture than anything else.
I like to get to know all kinds of people. I've made some very nice friends here in YuKu because of the Kudos we gave out durring Christmas. I found MSN not to be as friendly! |

I spent a couple hours trying to figure out how to get a new code. I don't know why Playlist stripped all the custom skins.
I hope there is a smarty pants around here that can figure out how to make up the code or if we can.
