Question: If I exercise this option, will the bookmarks that members and visitors have made for boardname.yuku.com still work?

I just discovered the Domain Hosting option. Really cool, since I already have a domain name for my board, but I've been having the registrar forward to
the old ezBoard for years. Now I can actually USE the domain name and, if I understand correctly, the url in the address bar will read the domain name, instead
of boardname/yuku.com? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Question: If I exercise this option, will the bookmarks that members and visitors have made for boardname.yuku.com still work? |

Let me add this because it seems pertinent. Kristen was checking into this a couple weeks ago, but I don't know if she landed on an answer.
If a board switches to its own domain name, will members with local profiles end up having ".boardname" appended to their names when they appear on the board? This could be a huge issue; almost all of our new members sign up from our board, meaning that they have local accounts. |

I have it setup on
http://theJJB.com
Bookmarks will still work. Users use the top navigation to login or register with yuku so they'll still get the .boardname extension in their profiles but it won't show on the board. If you don't want the local extension then signup through http://www.yuku.com |

Hi,
I just checked this on http://thejjb.com/ which is the same as http://jjb.yuku.com and users with .jjb names did not have the extensions showing. |

I was just looking at the domain hosting options in the administrative controls. Am I correct in assuming that a domain can be 'disconnected' and used
for something else if the desire to do that pops up in the future?
