Posts: 3 7-Oct-07 12:24 AM	Sorry I'm going round in circles here and getting nowhere fast, so excuse me if I'm in the wrong place. I would like to leave a certain forum but for the life of me can't find out how to cancel my membership. Does anyone have any suggestions for me or is it the fact that I have to contact someone and ask to be deleted. I can't seem to find any information. Getting access is easy enough but to get out of one is not so easy it seems Rhooky

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 13731 7-Oct-07 3:31 AM Yuku Help	You can't delete yourself. Yes, you would have to ask the admin to delete you if you don't want your name on their member list anymore. But as Kiu said, you can just stop going there. You can remove yourself from receiving emails though. Go to navigation -> communities -> my communities -> more/manage Click 'remove' in the receive emails column

Posts: 3 7-Oct-07 11:21 PM	Loggin Out would take you completely out of Yuku and not an individual group - so that's a bit redundant. I"ve been informed that the facility for an admin to delete a member from their lists has now been taken away from them - so where does that leave me eh. Surely Yuku don't intend to hold people in forums/groups they no longer wish to be in. I like the Yuku forums but the option to leave a particular one should be available to the individual.

Posts: 9389 8-Oct-07 2:26 AM	Admins can easily delete a member from their memberlists, they just need to click the delete button. Right now we don't have the ability for the member to do that from their side, however that is coming.
