Q: What is Yuku? Where do I find more information about it?

Q: Do I have to upgrade my ezboard community to Yuku?
A: All ezboards will be upgraded to Yuku eventually.
Q: How do I get my community upgraded now?
A: Simply click on this link, enter your board URL and submit it.

Q: Will my board have a different URL after the upgrade? How will my members find it?
A: Yes your board will have a different URL. However, a redirect will be put on your ezboard, anyone clicking on your ezboard URL will be redirected to your upgraded board.
Q: Will the upgrade damage my board or cause loss of members and posts?
A: Your community is important to us and the upgrade will not damage it in any way. Your member list, security settings, topics and posts, admin and moderator powers, emoticons and posticons, skin, avatars, titles, post counts, everything will remain intact. The only thing you need to reapply is your custom HTML. Please make sure to have a copy of it handy.
Q: Will my Gold be saved?
A: Yes your Gold will be saved for you and it will be reapplied a few hours after your board arrives on Yuku.
Q: Is there an ezSupporter option on Yuku?
A: Yes there is. Please check this topic for more information and useful links.

Q: Do my members have to create a Yuku account after the upgrade?
A: No, your members are being upgraded with the board. They will be able to log in using their email address and password or their username and password.
Q: Will my admin controls look different? How will I know what to do?
A: Yes your admin controls will look different. Yuku is intuitive and user friendly. So far, board owners who have gone through the upgrade have had no problems using the new admin panel. You can use the help wiki to familiarize yourself with how things work. If you have any problems or concerns, you can ask for help from experienced Yuku board owners at gethelp.

Q: Does Yuku have backups? How can I be sure?
A: Yes Yuku has backups. You can keep track of the most recent backup date via your Yuku admin panel.
Q: Can my members still post on ezboard after they have been upgraded to Yuku with the board?
A: All members with a global account will be able to post on both systems. Members with local accounts will be able to post on all boards across yuku once their account has been upgraded. When they post on boards other than their "home" board, they will have the name of the board added behind their user name.
Q: I'm still not convinced. Why would I want to upgrade? I am happy on ezboard and have everything I need and want.
A: Yuku is much more flexible than ezboard ever was. You might find something you really like and appreciate among the many features that Yuku has to offer in addition to the ezboard features you already know.
