Just a GRRRRRR!!!! I came in for a quick tweek of my board and got kicked out in the middle of it and it took a couple times to sign back in and then I had to
agree to some new terms of service (a freakin' tome!!!), so now I've run out of time to do my tweek.
Well....PFFFFFFFFT! That was inconvenient. |

They are working behind the scenes today - periodically boards are not accessible - but it usually isn't for very long.
Sorry the timing was inconvenient |

The fact is, I'm going to have to buy a new computer sooner than I'd planned to, because this one (Mac G3 iBook) won't support a browser adequate for yuku. I have a white G3 ibook, which I use to work on yuku when I am downstairs and away from my office. It runs Mac OSX fine. You don't have to buy a new computer to get an upgraded system and thus use modern and compatible browsers. If you won't upgrade from OS9, then icab is probably the only browser you'll be able to use on an old system that will work with yuku. As I no longer run OS9 on any of my computers, I can't test it. But icab on OSX works. |

Thanks for the tip, Alison, but I've ordered a MacBook. Some time ago, my local dealer said installing OS X in a G3 was possible, but the machine would run
more slowly. I already have an ample supply of "slowly."
Anyway, this G3 has had so much use that both parts of the plastic apple fell out of the lid. (We glued them back in.) I never know what might go next. |

That's true, it's certainly slower - each OS brings more baggage. I hope you like your Mac Book.
Try icab in the interim though, if you've got a while to wait. |
