Bars in editor and posts appearing in IE when applying italics

Posts: 74 24-Feb-08 3:15 AM	Tags : resolved, corrections when you make a post in IE and hightlight some text then click on italics and bar will appear in the editor and also the post. I tested several times until the bar wouldn't appear in edit mode but when I posted it would appear again. everything posts fine in regular font but until you add some italic then the bar will appear. In FF it all looks fine and I can not see a bar at the bottom of the post.. the member is using IE7 and I am using IE6 here is a test topic. http://nickelback.yuku.com/topic/2733 thanks for any suggestions. Posts: 74 24-Feb-08 9:41 PM	the problem originally started out with long posts being cut off then to the bar problem.. I tested several things and one thing that has worked today is when writing in microsoft word ,I applied web layout and then style>html code, font the same as that forum. I tested both adding [i ] then I used italics in word and both came out normal. I noticed if you do more than one paragraph ot if there is a break, you'll get the scroll bar. I'll keep on testing more to see if I can find a solution.. edited, I tested again and I noticed that if the post is SUPER long that it will only accept it if there is not a break line involved. also in IE when I click on my Favorites button and my sidebar appears, there is no blue bar but once I go back into full view it reappears, wondering is there is a code I could apply to the skin that might help it forum justify itself. Posts: 168 25-Feb-08 6:45 PM	When I was using a signature I'd always get the side scroll bar. It wasn't an elaborate siggy either, just a quote with an icon below it. Sometimes portions of longer posts would end up missing because they ended up "below" the side scroll bar. It, the side scroll bar in a post, wasn't leaving a way to read anything below it. Oddly enough when I ditched my siggy I didn't have that problem. ::shrugs::
