i'm getting Performing Maintenance messages and from what i see there are 2 people in the Chat room and i cant get in.hmm also i got where it says logging in and it never does. i was in the chat room earlier so i know i can access it and while i'm at it Thank You for the History being gone when others come into the room. |

A member just now reported getting a error message that read
" wrong password " . I attempted to go into the chat myself and got the same error message. I am the admin of this MBA board and don't remember setting a password on the chatroom. Can you help ? Member who got the message was stephen61.. delta eta ( 10:02 PM ) In the time since posted the first part of this message I deleted the Chat room ( 5 more members got the same error message) and created #3. This one works ( so far )

@JMurphCCS : I think the problem is your firewall you need to enable ports tcp 51228 and 51227 in order for it to work.

I tried that and got the same result, I went into my firewall and added/enabled those ports but to no avail.

i dont know where else to post this but it is about the Chat room.
it seems that the chat keeps users listed for a long time, even when someone isnt in there. or when i check in and then check out it stays at two users. soo i check in later to see who is in there and its no one but me and the one person who was in there before. i just hope that can be changed in time. thanks for listening. oh and i think i like where it had what was said before i came into the room. of course we should be able to clear the history but that should be a personal preference IMO. |

Changed nothing....settings are the same etc....yet chat has suddenly worked finally....but some members still getting the "connection failed" error
message:

I noticed. On the YUKU chat, whenever we click the "change display nickname" button, we can change our location, age, and gender, but no matter what
we put in, the nickname is ALWAYS "taken" We even tried something like jibberish, and we are never allowed to change your display nickname...Is their
a reason? I even went on several other YUKU boards and none are allowed to change the display name...

The Common CHAT Room I don't know if I'm supposed to report this here or not, but my chat room said that there were zero users chatting, when actually there was one user in the room. As far as I know, it's only happening to me. My profile name is Joseph Witchard.u. |

Error Message "Wrong Password!"
Board URL: http://padfootsarmy.yuku.com The error only happens to me (as far as I know). Two other people succesfully logged in and were chatting, however it would not (and still will not) let me in. Thanks for any help on resolving this issue 
EDIT: After about 15 minutes of the error message, the chat room let me in....weird

hprules28, when you got that error, had you been in any other chatrooms? Had you switched profiles, or logged into a different account previously?
Joseph Witchard, is that still happening? Are you anonymous? dark hunter silver, what usernames is that affecting? What is the board url? Zane32388, no, you can't change your profile name in chat, that just needs to be removed. |

So what's wrong with the chat rooms now? I try to log into it at my board and another board I go to and it pops up a message saying 'Wrong
password' and I am logged into the boards and my account.

Try logging out then in again and the try the chat room again. If that doesn't work, give me the url to the board where the chatroom is.

I am thinking it may be because I was in Yahoo chat earlier. I cleared out the cookies and logged back in and it seems to be working fine now.
