Validating an account using a gmail, yahoo, hotmail or AOL email

When you create an account using gmail, AOL, yahoo or hotmail, there is no need to wait for the validation email.
1) Log in to your account and click on 'account' in the navigation bar at the top of your screen.
2) Click on 'email' in the settings section.
3) Click the 'confirm your email address' link.
You will be taken to a page where you see the following message:

Please check your email inbox for the Yuku account validation email we sent you.
Simply click the validation link in the email to unlock your account. Validating your account will allow you to post to communities.
Your registered email address is listed below, if this is incorrect please change it on the account settings page.

On the next page, you will see the email you used for your registration.
Enter the password you use for that email (not your yuku password)

Password for your xxxx@hotmail.com:
Provide the password for your email provider xxxx
Enter the human verification code and click submit.

Your yuku account has now been validated.

Q: How long does it take for the validation email to arrive after I create a new account with yuku?

The email is sent immediately. You should receive the email as soon as you have registered.


Q: It's been hours and I have not received a validation email. What now?

1) Check and make sure that you accept emails from yuku. Add the following emails to your safe list:

staff@yukucorp.com
staff@mgr1.yuku.com
noreply@ezboardcorp.com

2) You can request to have the validation mail resent to you.
Click on account in the navigation bar at the top of your screen. Next, click on "email" in the settings section. You will see a "Confirm your account" page.

Look for the "resend confirmation email" section.
Enter your email in the box and click resend.


Q: I added those emails to my safe list and I requested for the confirmation email to be resent, but I am still not getting the validation email.

Please submit a ticket so that we can help you to validate your account.

You do not have to be logged in to submit a ticket.
We will give you your validation code and the confirmation link.


Q: Okay, that scares me a bit. What if I don't receive notification of your reply?

Emails sent from the help desk are unrelated to validation emails. You should not have a problem receiving the help desk replies.
If it makes you feel more comfortable, you could send a message to Yuku Team, we can help you validate your account via private message.

Click on "message" in the mini profile section below the avatar.
You can send private messages without validating your account, but you will be asked to enter a human verification code before you can send your message.

Q: Oops, fast fingers. I think I made a typo in the email on my registration. Can I fix this somehow?

Yes you can.
1) Click on 'account' in the navigation bar at the top of your screen.
2) Click on 'email' in the settings section.
3) You will see the email address that is registered for your account.
4) If it is incorrect, enter your correct email in the box and click submit.
You will receive a confirmation email that explains how to validate the updated email address.
