is no longer functioning. click on install on the yuku home page and it blows up. if you already have it installed the light comes on as if you're logged
on, but it isn't logged on, you click on log on, type the info, and it still won't log on. you can't do anything with your profiles, changing the
logon in options has no effect either.

Thanks lasher, we know about this, and some new files need to be pushed to fix it.

So does that mean that people using Firefox 2 can not use Yuku boards sucessfully right now? Asking because I can not post a new topic nor can I reply if my
answer has too many lines (or so it seems) and others on the board are having issues too. Will using IE 7 temporarily take care of the problem? I've tried
it and it didn't seem to but I could try today I suppose.

Oh, should have mentioned that I also have never been able to upload any images from my computer nor able to put up an avatar. My photobucket is linked and I
can post a pic within a response but that is all. By the way, the button down below to post a quick reply is tiny and doesn't have any writing on it.

Hiho, I use Firefox without the special yuku extension, and it works fine when yuku is functioning. (Today isn't a fair test.) But I don't try to do
the fancy stuff like uploading photos.

Looks like the extension is working now.

I have Firefox and can't install it. When I click "Install Now" I see a page with a ton of those diamond question mark things that show up
sometimes when you try to embed a video. I'm trying to do it from the link on the front page: http://www.yuku.com/ff/

The installation is still broken, the files are still missing I am afraid. This doesn't affect the use of the extension however, the missing files were
only part of the installation.
The extension was never actually broken, what wasn't working at the time of lasher's first posting was the servers. They weren't serving the data up so the extension light showed you logged in but failed to show any messages/friends/comments/etc menus when you clicked on it. The extension doesn't affect your use of yuku. You can choose to use it or not, but it's a passive element. It just shows the information that your account is broadcasting to you - ie, new messages, new comments, etc. If it doesn't get that data, it won't show it. |

You can get the add-on to install. Go to the download page http://www.yuku.com/ff/ and right click on Install now then click on Save link as.
Once you have downloaded the .xpi file then go to File -> Open File and open the xpi file you downloaded. It should install ok. Hope this hasn't been posted elsewhere. Still new to Yuku Harry Hedgehog

passive or active, it's a connection. and it seems recent problems have been about connections, that's what white pages, time outs, slow loading
equate,,,poor or lost connections

Yes, but those are server related, and nothing to do with the firefox extension.

the firefox extension is talking with your servers, that's where it gets it's info
