Please make reports of access problems due to 404/401 (and any other numerical) errors in this topic.
Please give details of the url(s) where the error was seen, and which profile name was affected. |

I have been getting this error message for the last 2 days. I have asked admin and they saythey have not banned my ip and that my account is fine.
Error 401 Unauthorized System Error Sorry your IP address has been banned. If you think this was a mistake please message one of the community admins to unban your ip address: 59.100.134.84 I have been able to create and log in with a new account and have no problems. How about right now. EVERY BOARD IS DOWN now and has returned...just WHEN is this goibg to get fixed ?

Same here. The entire Yuku site was completely down, I got 404's for EVERYTHING including the home page. About a half hour around 830pm PDT.

I can't figure out why this is happening to me. I have been on www.thewagon.yuku.com I'm signed in and will post replies. Here's the link to the
topic that I was in. http://www.thewagon.yuku.com/topic/10522 I created my reply and when I went to go "submit post" the reply it comes up with is:
But I can hit my back button and it will take me back to the reply page with my post typed in it still, but as soon as I hit the "submit post" button again it gives me the above error message still. I am currently using my son's computer which is less than a month old because my laptop is in the shop. But I had experienced this same problem on my laptop on Monday evening around 11 PM to 1 AM. It is for this website only. I do not have problems with any other bb on yuku. At first I thought with the issues I was having with my pc that it might be the pc, but now I see that it is not as I am using a different pc today. I have posted to six other topics in the same forum (General Crafting/Stitching) and my first reply was around 9:43 AM and it now 11:26 AM so I know it is not because I am posting to quick, etc. Being that I don't have my pc (hopefully I'll have it back on Friday) please reply to me either here or through my avatar. I'll check back as soon as I can. Thank you for any assistance that you can give me regarding this matter. I've had this problem in the past (before Christmas) and I thought it had been cleared up, but now I see that something is still going on. Could it have to do with Vista? Both my laptop and son's tower are both with Vista. |

I can see front pages and profiles but nothing else. I can't get into any forums or threads at all. I'm on firefox but logged out of IE, to try a
different account. I can't log in at all with any of the IDs I have after logging out.
I've PMed a few friends and they seem OK. What's going on?? |

I was having the same issues with the same board as 1Terry, and for me it started way back in August, and has been intermittant since. Some times for a few
hours, sometimes for days, but then suddenly I'd get through to the board just fine. Then in another week or so the 401 error would occur again.
I noticed that every time I got that error, all my subscriptions to threads on the Wagon would be wiped out, both threads I started and ones others started that I subscribed to. Every time. It seemed rather a strange coincidence, so I tried an experiment, and stopped subscribing to any threads on that board (http://www.thewagon.yuku.com) back in mid February (see this thread...http://support.yuku.com/topic/4114/t/Error-401-again.html ). Since then have not gotten any 401 errors at all! Considering it's only been about 6 weeks, I'm not sure if that proves anything yet, but maybe if others getting the 401 error intermittantly would hold off on subscriptions and see what happens that might give a clue on this bug? I know that there are other boards mentioned in that support thread where the same issue has cropped up, so it's not just a few folks. This is the only board I visit on Yuku where I have this access problem, so I don't think it has anything to do with my computer, my OS (Vista) or my browser (IE). I even tried FF and it still happened. I am continuing with my experiment and will post if I do ever get the 401 error again. ETA: Strangely, when I went to that support thread I mentioned, I could not reply to the end, getting a ...... 401 error! It is now in the Resolved list, but it is not resolved! People are still getting the error.....

I have been having problems getting to this board http://hydra2.yuku.com/. I haven't been able to post in almost a
week! This is not the first time either! This has been happening at least twice or more a month. I have already spoke with the admin.
on the board I am not banned. I created another account and that one will let me in. But I rather keep this account as the people there know the me by the
name. And also it shows how many posts I have.
Also my subscriptions get wiped out every week! I did come from EZBoard if that makes any difference. So please help me! Sorry but I enjoy this board alot and this is getting very annoying. Well, I did as StitchingKat had suggested. I removed any and all "subscriptions" that I had. I double verified that I did not have any. Then I went
to the "options" available in my account and did the following. I unmarked the "email every request" and marked the "daily email
digest". When I opened my email account this morning I had over 100 emails from Yuku that I had replies to various topics I had posted to and had asked in
the past to "subscribe to this topic". This makes no sense whatsoever to me! Shouldn't I have gotten an email every time when I had the
"email every request" marked and not the "daily email digest"? Am I missing something here? And I have tried after removing subscriptions
to get into The Wagon and I still get the error 401 "you don't have access to this community" message. So this hasn't helped me at all. And
I have to have one or the other marked, so I'm wondering if this isn't part of the problem possibly? I mean I marked "email every request"
and I would get absolutely NOTHING that people had posted to a topic I wanted to get notified on. But as soon as I marked the "daily email digest" I
get email after email after email for everything! And I don't get the option of not having any of the two. I have to have one marked. I would really like
to know why I can not get into this one BB at any time. I'll have to see if someone from that BB can send me a link to a topic and hopefully when I click
on the link I can get back in as I have done in the past. But I shouldn't have to be asking others to send me a link to be able to get into this BB.

Terry, I have mine set to Email on every request, but it sometimes is slow in doing so...one thread on Rotation I subscribed to, I just today got the emails
for everyone who posted to that thread, all at once! Once you get access to the Wagon again, that is when you want to stop subscribing, and only to that
board's messages....keep doing what you usually do on the other boards. Believe me, I know how frustrating it is! Here's a link to a thread on the
Wagon, so you can check your access...hope it helps!

When signing on to The League of Heroes I keep getting an Error 401 Unauthorized message, saying my IP address has been banned. The moderators tell me they
haven't banned me. This keeps happening intermittently and it really sucks. My IP address is 64.12.117.135 under the name Vermithrax 1. I'm signing
on thru AOL and my computer uses Windows XP.

Apparently everything is fine now. I did create a new profile and was able to access it that way. Then when I logged out and logged back in under my
original profile it was fine.

You are using a dynamic AOL IP The board you are referring to has an IP range banned. The blocked IP range is an AOL IP range. AOL has 8 different ranges. When you log on to the internet, you can be within the range that is banned. You could disconnect from the internet and then connect again to see if you're in a different range, or you could ask the owner of the board to unban that IP range because since it is an AOL IP and AOL has a super small IP pool, many users could find themselves accidentally banned off and on. You have posted on that board at least twice with an IP that is within the banned IP range (You probably posted with those numbers before the range got banned), so it is very likely that you are going to be within that range again today, or tomorrow or any other time you log on. When you log on, go to this place: http://whatsmyip.org/ It will show you which IP number you are browsing the web with. If the number starts with 205.188, you'll see the banned message. Disconnect, connect again and go to http://whatsmyip.org/ again. If the number shown starts with anything other than 205.188 you should be able to access the board. You might want to let the board owner know about this though, because many users still use AOL to access the internet. With the current banned IP range, about 1 out of every 8 people who access the board using AOL could find themselves banned.

Well, it worked for a while, but I'm back to getting the 401 error. The URL is http://yetanotherpoliticsboard.yuku.com/directory. I've tried
other forums and I seem to get in fine.

One of my Norwegian moderators told me yesterday she thought the board was down.
