When I try to login using http://jefffsbeardboard.yuku.com/login/remote/d/beardboard.com it does not appear to work at all. Everything seems to work when I use the links from the yuku board name though.

Is this the same problem you're having? http://support.yuku.com/reply/41542#reply-41542
The boxes for logging in are missing in the navigation bar when using domain hosting. You have to click the Login button, and sometimes it doesn't log in properly. |

Yes, the same exact thing is happening.
Is there any way to make the link so it uses the working jefffsbeardboard.yuku.com link instead of trying to use beardboard.com? Otherwise I'll be having a hard time trying to explain it to my members. |

You can set up domain forwarding - so if people type in beardboard.com, it will forward them to jeffsbeardboard.yuku.com. But the yuku domain will appear in
the address bar, unless you do masking. I don't know if there's any reason why masking wouldn't work here - I'll leave that to the bug people.

masking puts your board in an iframe, and that is not a good idea. We'll look into the login issues.

Thanks as I hope that can be resolved. I suppose I could make beardboard.com or beardboard.net forward to jefffsbeardboard.yuku.com until this issue gets
resolved as a last resort.

Since it does not appear this issue shall be resolved quite soon, I'm making my domain names forward to jefffsbeardboard.yuku.com which was the last thing
I really wanted to do.

Any updates shall be appreciated as at anytime I may try my beardboard.net domain to verify it does work again.

I've had a domain name pointing to my board - and didn't even realize I had masking enabled (it's called "Domain Stay" at my registrar)!
I've had several members with log in problems and after reading this thread, I went investigating. I have always accessed my board using a bookmark - I
hadn't even tried using the forwarded domain url (I checked to see if it forwarded, of course, but had never logged in after accessing the board with it).
I tried it this morning - in FireFox I could log on and post, but could not edit - the editing screen came up with no text in it to edit. In IE, I logged in
but as soon as I clicked on any link, I was logged out. I disabled the masking for the domain and that fixed those issues for me. I'm waiting to hear
from members to see if that was their problem as well.
I don't care that the domain isn't masked - just that users can find the board with it. I know it's a different issue from the Yuku Domain Hosting problems, but I'm posting this information in case it helps someone else with a similar problem.

Thanks Cape Ann Web. Domain masking is definitely not a good idea for so many reasons.
Goatee King, I've just found out that it's only a problem with IE, does that correlate to your experiences? |

Yes, IE is all I really use, I hadn't tried any other browsers though I get rare access to firefox.

ok, at the moment using Firefox is one work around, but if you don't have access to that then it's not much help. You'd need to use the yuku url
for the time being.
