The Yuku rich text editor just got richer.
Today Yuku is adding a one-click video embed feature to the rich text editor used for forum posts and blogs. The tool works with APIs from YouTube and from Clipbast to let you search and preview videos from the world's largest video libraries and embed videos right in your blog or message board posts.
You no longer need to leave your blog or message board thread to find that perfect piece of video to put in your post. Simply hit the "Reply" button, click on the video icon in the rich text editor tool bar and enter your search term. You can search using the Clipblast search index, or you can search against the YouTube library. Hit the preview button to see your video first, or just click the video to add it directly to your post or blog entry. You can add other videos and pictures, create richly formatted text, or hit the "HTML" button to edit the code directly. Hitting the "Save" button will add your video to your post.
In addition to support for the YouTube and Clipblast APIs, the Yuku rich text editor allows you to add photos directly from your PhotoBucket account. It's all part of our effort to make it easier to create richer experiences in your forums, profiles and blogs.
