I am soooooo frustrated at this point i am just about ready to say forget it. I never had this much problems with ezboard.

I have locked my board, invited someone to join the board, she received the invitation, registered and it does not appear as pending in the membership list.
What does show up as a member is a support ticket , which I have not received any help on, btw.
I am soooooo frustrated at this point i am just about ready to say forget it. I never had this much problems with ezboard. ![]()

I can tell you about the support account.
This is an account that all boards have, it's were the PMs go if a member on you board clicks on the Contact Support link on your board. You can hide that link, if you would rather have members open a help ticket when they have a yuku problem. li.support-link {display: none;} It used to be that the support account was an admin by default, but I think that now it is a member account and you can make it an admin account if you wish. Different boards use the support account for different things. Some use it if they need to ban/warn a user. That way there isn't a way for the banned/warned user to blame a specific admin. Some use the account to post things like board announcements and the rules. I've seen some posts where a board will use the support account to upload images for the board using the yuku image space and/or a photobucket account linked to the support account. That way all the admins have access to the board images. |
