Posts: 228 28-Mar-08 4:14 PM	Tags : developer I keep getting problems with read posts getting marked unread again. http://droopsnootgroup.yuku.com, Win XP, IE6, IE7, FF2, three different 'puters, various occasions, the last around 8 - 9 pm GMT 28/3. On visiting the board there will be unread markers on a number of forums. On looking at a forum, everything's correctly marked. Return to the board main page, and the incorrect unread markers have disappeared leaving only the genuine new posts. Perhaps related to caching issues reported here? These sort of things aren't a big deal in one way, but are very confusing for inexperienced users - for which read most of my users! The own posts marked unread thing is still happening as well. Posts: 6 29-Mar-08 2:12 PM	I'm not sure if this is a caching issue or not. I have one thread on the board I moderate and it is stuck 2 pages behind. While the posts are infact still there the board links it 2 pages behind. This is the thread http://nopsychos.yuku.com/topic/370 however, when we hit the last page we get this http://nopsychos.yuku.com/topic/370?page=380 And in reality the last page is 382. Any ideas? Thoughts?

Actually, it's not really breaking. While your board allows you to set a particular number of replies per page, members have the ability to override the board settings via their account settings . For instance, our boards are set to 20 topics per page and 20 replies per page. My personal settings are to view 40 topics per page and 30 replies per page. Because of that, a link like the one above will produce a completely different result than it would for someone using the board settings.

The last reply I see currently is http://nopsychos.yuku.com/reply/33217/t/Things-I-like-.html#reply-33217 It's on page 382 but the main page shows 380 as the last page On the main page it has 7593 replies, yet in the topic it has 7637 replies. I'll have the board data recached.

Now here is where it get weird...the topic is also a featured topic and in the featured topic it is marked as read, but not in the forum it belongs to. Posts: 861 5-Apr-08 2:22 PM	Well, if they are trying it today, I am finding it worse. Across the boards I am having many cached directory pages that will not resolve with a hard refresh. Generally it has been a minor issue for me of recent but today it is much worse.
