I would like to hear what all the different boards at Yuku are about. I have seen so many great boards on this network! Boards about fishing, fan board, sport, boards offering friendships, political boards, music boards and so on... so many more boards now than just half a year ago. My board is a support group for chronic ill people. What kind of board is your board? |

Your board (and profile) are really fantastic!!!
We're just a group of small family type boards: My granddaughter is brand new to yuku and her board is about mythical dragons and mermaids (smile) My brother's board showcases his 50 years of poetry and photographs We have a religious board that was established to provide a non-contentious atmosphere for discussion and support I have my family board set up so we can keep track of what everyone is doing and My sister's board is the most fun - she has lots of adventures!!! |

Oh my gosh, Temple work! Your family is running in the whole Yuku then! :-) lucky you to have such a fun family! My sister's board is the most fun - she has lots of adventures!!! That made me really curious!

My board is fairly small with just over 200 members (started 2002) made up of a lovely bunch of Scottish people, most of whom now live in the US, Canada, and
Australia though some still live in the UK.
The other board where I am co-admin, has almost 1700 members (started 1999), again Scottish ex-pats though some still live in the UK. We all originally come from three neighbouring towns so have the same recollections of growing up in the area and going to the same schools. Many friendships have been made through these boards, old friends found and even family members located. |

Two RP boards... yeah, we're kind of geeky about role play
Sygil is based very loosely off a movie about angels (The Prophecy) the other, PandoraNyx is a dark future style. We do like writing stories . However, on
both, Mainly PandoraNyx, the off topic forums are the busiest and we've gotten a few regulars who aren't role players but like to chit chat.
Sygil's off topic is public so we end up just kind of being very light hearted and silly, PandoraNyx's off topic is MBA so it's more of a safe
haven for talking about more personal issues.... and Stephanie's pictures of Keanu Reeves

My board is about life, the experience and travels where it takes us, it's filled with reflection, philosophy, religion and beautiful colors. We're
bamboo fly rod fishers using a fiber that once had life to capture a life to fulfill our lives, it's all good....

My board is based on the Ragdoll breed of cat. It is for anyone with or without a pet, feline or otherwise. We offer information on health, current health
related grants and projects in the feline fanciers world, but most importantly about HCM - Hypertrophic Cardiac Myopathy in Ragdoll Cats. (HCM appears in most
breeds of cats, as well as in 1 in 500 humans ) as well as support for those who have lost a pet. We've organized a grass roots organization called
ROAR... Ragdoll Owners Advocating Research ( before animal planet used that acronym... I was so happy when they came out with their ROAR campaign ) to help
raise funds at cat shows to support the different research projects going on. Soooo, we are a this and that board, a little of everything, but with a love of
the Ragdoll Cat. All are welcome and almost no subject is taboo. We prefer to keep it family oriented, and not gender oriented.
Sunshine, I've heard of geneology boards before... it would be great to start one for our family... you'd be surprised at what is in your distant past this and that: cross stitch & crafts, gardening, household, cooking, pets, cars, current events, friendships. |

My board is one of the largest collections of themes, custom html, page layouts and scripts for ezboard, and now skins for yuku too (77 so far).
I have many many many other boards, but they are all test boards really!

Sunshine, ezdesign grew out of a need when I used to moderate Cool Tips & Tricks. There wasn't anywhere to share themes or custom html for ezboards. So
I started a board, then a website. We have a huge collection of downloadable or hosted themes by many different people, and links to their theme boards too.
Plus many "eztools".
We are now growing some yuku tools too - like Chris's "Board Gold Cost" calculator for example, and we need to build up on new yuku skins

The Princess Bar Hangout is a general chat board that loves to post jokes, silly topics, discuss the wonderfulness of
beer, comics....pretty much anything that is light hearted. Where there are lots of "serious" topic boards out there. The Princess Bar is not one of
them.
 The Princess Bar RPG is
just a game we started up as part of a anniversary celebration with Apocalypse & his gang causing havoc & the Resistance having to stop him once more.
Orginally on EzBoard both the RPG & the Hangout was on one board, but after the migration the Hangout became a seperate board, so that the RPG could spread
out.
Now Stephanie's Blog & Drunken Ramblings is just that. My blog.......  but it don't get updated very often. Stephanie's Themes & Custom Buttons is my theme board that shows off the themes I've created & in fact use at the
Princess Bar.
I have 4 other boards that I own as well, but they are RPG game boards, currently not being used as the games have since finished up.......I'm a geek and proud of it.
