The static stickies began working last week when I got the message from YUKU.....But they are no longer working for me either as of this morning.

Me too! ... they're a pain to stick in place so having them all out of order again is frustrating to say the least

Have the stickies settled into stuckness yet?

Thanks for your patience. The code has been fixed. Static stickies will be coming with the next push probably within the next few weeks.

... probably within the next few weeks.Darn it, I'll need another roll of duct tape to keep them stuck that long. |

On a forum that has only two stickies, and new posts turn them into slipperies, we made a temporary fix by adding a hidden post to the one that should be at
the top and editing that post when the topic slips down.

Thats fine if you only have a couple to stick. But itsa terrible idea when you have several stickied topic in several different forum areas.......It would get
very old very fast for something that should be done automatically

Is there any way to get an update on this? I was directed to this thread by support and advised it would be updated when the problem was fixed. Since it's
been over a week since the last post here, would it be possible to get some indication as to whether we are days, weeks or months from seeing this feature? My
forum has numerous Sticky threads, and the constantly churning topics has led the folks who use the forum to once again begin moaning, "Why did they force
us to Yuku (from EZBoard) if it didn't work..." That moaning had largely died down previously, because Yuku is pretty, but when the interface makes
finding a topic challenging, it all comes back again, along with the suggestions of other forum sites that we could be using.
I'd like to be able to tell them that the problem is getting closer to a resolution! |
