A Yuku account is NOT a username. Your account is set up on your email address, and can have up to 5 profiles belonging to it. So to have a username, you need to have at least one profile on your account.

When you first sign up, you will be asked for your first profile name on the second screen of the sign up process.

Your account will control all your preferences and settings. Your inbox is also attached to your account, rather than each profile. This means that you do not have to switch profiles to read pms to or from different profiles. You will be able to select which profile you are sending pms from at the time of writing them in the same way you can select which profile you post as when you post on a forum.

Your albums are also linked to your account rather than your profiles, which means that all profiles can use all images that you have uploaded. You can assign albums to each profile names for the purpose of galleries that show on your profile page however.
