Posts: 131 18-May-08 2:18 PM	Tags : crash I don't know if this has already been reported since there are so many problem issues right now but my co-Admin cannot access any Yuku page beyond a main page for each Yuku board he has checked. Here's a copy of his emails to me. I can only see the main board page; when I click on a forum category nothing comes up. Posts: 131 18-May-08 5:45 PM	The issue is resolved for my co-Admin. He didn't do anything. It just fixed itself. He just emailed me: One thing I noticed was that while unable to access the site, and immediately upon regaining access earlier this evening (presumably because of caching), the forums and topics URLs were of the variety that include the complete topic title in the URL, as opposed to the more common http://biddingfortravel.yuku.com/topic/3425 . I think this has something to do with it.

Sometimes, like now, everything is working fine and then at other times all I get are the main page and when I try to navigate to a sub forum I get a blank page. Been happening on and off for the last couple of days. Definitely annoying.

Posts: 5 19-May-08 1:52 PM	One of my board members is also having trouble with this. However, he can't even send YUKU an e-mail because they don't have an e-mail address for help. All they have is a "help ticket" page - which doesn't do much good if you can't access the message board in the first place. Below is the e-mail message he sent me: Hi Bruce, I have been unable to get into the forum and was wondering if it is up and running? It started yesterday. I was able to get in, but the page background was white and the text was much larger. Clicking on any of the individual forums causes IE to timeout. Firefox will not work either. It's continuing today. I went into my Yuku account and logged out, and now can no longer access anything involving Yuku (including their support). I am connected to the internet without issue, it just seems to be anything involving Yuku. Below is the link I am able to get to, but the text below it is what I see. If you have any ideas, I'm all ears. If not, would you be able to forward this message to them for me and I'll try and work it out through e-mail with them? I really appreciate it. I can already feel the early stages of forum withdrawals! Thanks very much, Rob 'Robster'

Posts: 9389 20-May-08 5:14 AM	The guys are aware of this problem and are working to resolve it. We are sorry for the inconvenience - it's not browser related, however it may be connection related. In other words, if you can reconnect to your ISP OR if you can use a proxy or switch ISPs then you might find the problem resolves temporarily. It's not to do with the ISP itself, but it might be about which of our servers you first connect with, and coming via proxy gives you a chance of hitting a different server initially. Obviously we hope that it will be ironed out soon.

Posts: 2 26-Aug-08 11:09 PM	I've started having the problem outlined here in the last couple of days. At the moment, the only way I seem to be able to reliably access any yuku board is via a proxy. It is intermittent, but repeated to the point I cannot access any of the sites for over half of the day. At times the pages load fine for a few minutes, then it crashes and click on links does nothing. Other times none of the pages load at all. I was wondering, what was the problem the last time this happened, and the end solution? ~Isealdor~

ADMINISTRATOR Posts: 13731 27-Aug-08 5:03 PM Yuku Help	The last time this happened, it was a general issue that was affecting several users. The issue was fixed, so yours might be something different. Have you tried disconnecting from the internet all together and connecting again?
