Working out how much your Gold Community is going to cost is not as difficult as it seems.
Find out if your community uses under or over 50,000 page views a month by going to admin > stats graphs and viewing daily page views for 1 month.
If that number is under 50,000 then you can purchase Gold for you community at the following rate: $6 per 1 month
You can buy in bulk however, for discounts as follows:
- $30 for 6 months or
- $54 for 12 months
If your page views are over 50,000 then you can purchase Gold for your community at the cost of $0.20 per 1000 ad-free page views.
Total page views and ad page views are NOT the same, as ads are not shown on all pages in your community. Ads are only shown on topic pages at this point in time.
So to accurately work out how many ad-free page views go again to admin > stats graphs and this time view daily ads views for 1 month.
This will show you the following:
- Ads Pages - total views of pages that serve ads
- No Ads/supporter - total views by yuku supporters (ad removed)
- No Ads/Opted - total views with ads removed using your ad-free page views
Pages viewed with ads removed by yuku supporters do not use your ad-free page view credits as they have paid for themselves. The Opted figure shows you the views that have used your ad-free page views.
To work out in advance what 1 year of ad-free page views could cost you, use the No Ads/Opted total for 1 month, and apply it to this equation:
(ad-free page views/1000) * .2 * 12 (ad-free page views divided by 1000, then multiplied by .2, then multiplied by 12)
