To edit the smilies for your community you need to clink on the admin link to the right side of your navigation bar.
You have two links to access the Community Smilies
One to the left in the admin menu.
And one to the right in the control panel.
To add to or edit an existing smiley set, click on the edit button.
On the next page you will see the fields for the smilies.
The first field is for the url where the image is stored. At the end of the field is an icon for accessing your Yuku image storage. If the image that you wish to use is on your image space, you can just click on that icon and then select the image you want, the same as adding an image to a post.
The next field is the keystroke field. This is a required field when you add a new smiley.
You enter what your members will need to enter in order for the smiley to appear. Keystrokes must start with a colon.
The Alt Text field is optional. If you add a word or phrase here, it is what your members will see if the image fails to load or if the member is blocking images.
The favorites box: check favorite if you want the smiley to show up in the box that pops up when a user clicks on the (?) after Use Smilies. If you leave it unchecked it won't show in that box, but users will still be able to enter the keystrokes and will be able to see the entire list when clicking on the Smile icon on the post editor.
Each smiley set can have a maximum of 300 smilies.
To add additional smilies to a set, scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the Add Another Smiley button
When you have finished, click on the Save button
Adding a new smiley set.
Click on the Add New Set button
A set will open. It will be titled "Untitled Smilies" with the date/time and will be pre-filled with default smiles.
Edit the title with one of your own.
You can replace any of the pre-filled smilies with ones of your own or just add yours to the end.
