When posting, please include the following information: Board url status bar information - ie, what your status bar says when it hangs while loading. eg: waiting for [ url ] or loading data from [ url ] how long it took to load a single page how long (overall period of time) the slowness lasted

Posts: 15 12-Jul-08 6:07 AM	My board members have just reported me about the problems they have. The board URL is http://mjjdreamworld.yuku.com/bmjjdreamworld Here are reports from my board members, so far two reports since yesterday: #1 Does anyone else have this problem as I only have it on this site and only in the last feww days. When i enter a topic a message come up saying Stop running Script? The Yes or no No matter which I press my computer freezes and it only happens on this site which I love so if anyone has any idea how to fix this please let me know. I am using windows Vista and internet explorer 7. #2 I actually had that message come up today but it didn't freeze my computer. But the problem I've been having the past few days is a lot of times when I click on a topic it takes several minutes for the page to upload. I don't know if it's related. According to my board members, problem lasts various amounts of time, sometimes just 1 minute, sometimes 5 minutes. This was happening everyday last week. It also freezes people's computers. Posts: 110 14-Jul-08 2:12 AM	The Coffee House Started first thing this morning. I am running FF on Windows XP. The header opens but it takes forever for the rest of the page to load. For me, this problem is board-wide. I have three pages open now and I can't post in any of them. Sometimes, if I wait 5 minutes or so, the rest will load but then I have to wait again to get into the topic. I just don't have that kind of time. This issue started a few days ago but it was very minor. It just got hung up but I could wait it out. Now however, it's taking so long that I can't post. Thanks, Fran

Posts: 10 14-Jul-08 5:11 AM	I am the board owner, but I haven't experienced these problems myself. I do have one member that this happens to daily and frustrates her enough to get offline completely. Another one has had it happen a couple times. The one that it happens to frequently posted this: I am having major problems with the board at the moment. Everytime I try to post or read a message I get a pop up box saying "this website is running a script that could make your computer run slow do you want to turn off the script" or words to that effect. I click on yes & then the whole internet explorer goes into unresponsive mode & shuts down. I don't have any other information for you at the moment though.... So far, my board (The Coffee House) is ok now but I've only been to the main page. This is what happens... it's bad and then it clears up. It will most likely be very slow again soon.

Posts: 9389 14-Jul-08 12:09 PM	mjjeyes, NCKellyCarla and Squalie413, that is a problem with an ad from a third party, not yuku. We are taking steps to have that fixed. Fran, what does the status bar indicate when this is happening? How long does the period of slowness last for?

The past 3 to 4 days, Yuku has been very slow,and I often have not even been able to refresh the pages. Tonight, if I've been lucky enough to open the latest page in a thread, I've had to click on"Tinnitus Support Message Board" to go out and come back to Off Topic. Also, I haven't been able to enter via my bookmarked link to the board, and have been connecting through The Tinnitus Online Community link instead. There have been glitches with email as well. Things are working slow, or not at all..it's frustrating because it's too regular.

And so on and on and on. And that isn't counting the pages I try to load once on a board or profile/blog. Each time everone timed out anyway and one had to click again and again. All that is just in the last hour and 15 mins. Basically it's every board, profile, blog that I try to get to. Btw, it took 2.5 mins for this to load again for me to edit. Posts: 3 19-Jul-08 5:38 PM	I am using a Mac PowerBookPro. I usually use the Safari browser. In the last week, it has been impossible to go to the prepvolleyball.com web page. I see that it has changed to prepvolleyball.yuku.com web page. It is now just minutes to load each page. I decided to see if it was just the Safari. I have tried Firefox, Netscape and Opera with the same results. When I rebooted the computer in Windows, I used IE and had no problems whatsoever. (My thoughts is that it may have been my connection.) Any ideas?????

The title bar comes up with the board title, but the page is blank Time Period: I've been trying intermittently since 7 am EST today with no luck getting on the board. I talked to one other person on the board and she was able to get in and read posts, but she said there have not been any new posts since last night, which is unusual for us, so I assume others are having a problem getting in as well.

Posts: 3 22-Jul-08 8:13 PM	I still have trouble using my Mac PowerBookPro using any browser. I have timed it at 4 to 5 minutes to load a page. When I reboot into Windows, I can use any browser and the page loads quickly in my Windows browsers. I can not figure this out. In Mac, no browser works. It is the same computer and wireless connection. If it is the Mac side, it is slow on the prepvolleyball.yuku.com web site. If it is on the Windows side, it is fast. In the Mac, it loads about 50% almost immediately and then hangs for 4 to 5 minutes and then the page suddenly appears. This has been going on for about a week. I hope this helps.

So this was a few days ago that it was really slow most of the day, then intermittently for the past few days its dragged on and off: Board url http://lam.yuku.com/ Status bar information - ie, what your status bar says when it hangs while loading. eg: waiting for [ url ] or loading data from [ url ] The stuff that stays on screen the longest I can read says "waiting on yukuk.com", but falshing by fast are things that contain the words "static" and "pixel". how long it took to load a single page Not certain, but when at it s worst it took maybe 10 seconds. how long (overall period of time) the slowness lasted On and off for a full day and intermittently thereafter. I have just been rebooting and going into the Windows side of the MacBook Pro. I just decided to try it on the Mac side. It works great again. I am not sure what happened, but is fast again. Thanks.

This has been going on for the past hour or so every board is erratic with stop/start/stop/start/stop/start and is past frustrating.
