Posts: 821 1-Aug-08 5:45 PM	Tags : help, resolved I have been on my board several times today, without encountering any problems. But now, all of a sudden, I am getting this message when I try to go my board: Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http://thebusstop.yuku.com/directory. Operation aborted When I click on OK, the board disappears and I get the white page instead. This never happened to me before. The weird part is that I was able to access other yuku boards without a problem. I tried to go to my board via FF and I don't have a problem from there. But I have used IE my entire computer life, and I do not want to switch to FF. I can do this temporarily, but I want this problem solved as soon as possible. Posts: 821 1-Aug-08 5:45 PM	This error message is totally new to me, too. I don't have problems accessing other boards, including this one. I assume that this must be a server specific problem. Probably our boards are on the same server, which probably went south, and that's why we encounter this problem all of a sudden. BTW, I just went to your board and got the error message. Posts: 1616 1-Aug-08 7:47 PM "temporarily dysfunctional" munificent member	My DIL's blog at Blogger.com started doing the same thing... They said it is something in the "sitemeter" code - and the "sitemeter" needs to be removed....! Do any of you have the "sitemeter" installed on your boards???

I went looking for answers when I couldn't contact her and found MANY listings of this problem at: http://groups.google.com/...er-help-publishing/topics It seems to be an IE problem only (FF is not affected - at least on the blogs) and removing the Sitemeter reportedly solves the problem It is difficult to remove the Sitemeter??? This is not a yuku problem - it is a IE/Sitemeter problem To work around it until it is resolved either delete Sitemeter from the websites or download and use Firefox (just until the problem is fixed)

Posts: 514 2-Aug-08 5:28 AM	If Microsoft is doing this on purpose (and since Site Meter's home page is also blocked, so it would appear that they are), it`s interesting that Microsoft would do such a thing - essentially running someone out of business.
