Broken email address validation

Posts: 1 27-Aug-08 12:41 AM	Tags : email I tried to update my email address, and when I pressed "Submit" the page said "Your email does not have valid format". My email address contains a plus "+" symbol, and I can assure you that this symbol is valid in an email address (technically speaking, almost any character is valid in the "local" part of the address). I use the plus symbol in my email address all the time, except when some sites stupidly refuse to accept it in forms. Last Edited By: Chris W962 17-Nov-08 9:18 AM. Edited 1 time.

Posts: 1 16-Nov-08 11:49 AM	I believe I am having a similar problem to Fred. I too, am getting the invalid "Your email does not have valid format" thing. My internet provider is Qwest, and their email addresses use "q.com". I would prefer to use this email account over the one I have subscribed under.
